Mother Helen informs them that supplies can be found in the supermarket but the water supply is not working. The heroes meet Mother Helen, a nun and leader of the survivors taking refuge in the church. After killing these enemies and turning off the church bells. Though Sinamoi specifies what the ill child needs in order to survive, however, there is no quest revolving around getting any of these supplies for Laura, and she will always die.The heroes and Jin arrive in Moresby near the Church to find it being attacked by Walkers and a Ram that were attracted to the church by the church bells.Despite being mentioned by Sinamoi, Laura is nowhere to be found at the Lifeguard Tower. This maybe due to the exclusion of children from the game after a trailer was shown depicting a girl being attacked and getting infected. It is also possible, however, that the survivors burnt her body after she died. After the Heroes give some supplies to the church survivors in the main quest It's Never Too Late, Sinamoi calls them and informs that Laura has died from the pneumonia. The other survivors at the tower panic, believing that Laura is infected, and wanting her dead. As a result of this, she developed pneumonia, falling ill and attaining a fever of 104 degrees and as a result, became delirious, believing Bobby (Jack) is trying to kill her. Prior to being found by the Lifeguard Tower survivors once the Heroes leave for Moresby, it's said that she hid in the water all night long after her own parents tried to kill her. John Sinamoi mentions her by radio in Saint Christopher's Church once the main quest Drowned Hope has been activated. Laura is a mentioned survivor featured in Dead Island.
